This time, an abbot wants one in flesh and bone by dawn. Shortlisted among the top 125 films of the Higgsfield Global Film Festival 2026, out of 6,277 entries from 176 countries, "Diodatus and The Odor of Sanctity" is a medieval pulp short film generated end to end with AI, video and audio both, using generative AI video tools, AI voice synthesis, and an AI-driven production pipeline, built in under a month for the Higgsfield AI Global Film Festival 2026. Every frame and every sound in this film is fully AI generated, as required for Higgsfield's $1,000,000 Global Film Festival. DIODATUS and the Odor or Sanctity is part of the HIMIL universe, a project dedicated to reconstructing a lost world through deep historical research and AI filmmaking. We explore how religion and fear turn human events into legend, using technology to bridge the gap between ancient folklore and modern narrative.
