Good Girl: The True Story of Laika, the Dog Sent to Space

In 1957, a small stray dog from the streets of Moscow became the first living creature to orbit the Earth. She wagged her tail. She trusted them completely. She never knew she was never coming back. This is the true story of Laika, told as a short film: the Cold War rivalry that put her in space, how a stray was chosen, the weeks the scientists grew attached, and the hours Sputnik 2 kept hidden for decades.
