The film's narrative, screenplay, creative direction, sequencing, and final editorial decisions were developed and executed by its directors (Metamastophora & Hillstream). Using OpenAI to coordinate a locally hosted Wan2GP video-generation workflow, 80+ individual AI-generated video clips were produced over approximately 24 hours on local hardware. These clips were subsequently selected, arranged, cut, color-graded, and composited into a cohesive documentary-style science-fiction narrative through traditional video-editing techniques. Additional visual effects, pacing, transitions, and synchronization with the narration and musical score were completed during post-production. A limited selection of supplementary footage was sourced from Pixabay Videos. The majority of the film's visual content was generated specifically for this production. The narration was synthesized using ElevenLabs from an original screenplay. The orchestral soundtrack was composed by Metamastophora in FL Studio. This project explores the possibilities of AI-assisted independent filmmaking while maintaining human authorship and creative direction at the center of the production. --- FICTIONAL WORK & HISTORICAL REFERENCES WE ARE CLAUDE is a fictional work of speculative science fiction.
