Before the Jedi and the Sith, the galaxy answered a mysterious call. When two primitive hunters are drawn toward a colossal ancient vessel known as the Tho Yor, they leave everything behind and join Force-sensitive beings from across the galaxy on a journey to the mysterious world of Tython. As haunting visions reveal a future filled with war, darkness, and warriors wielding the first Forcesabers, they realize they are witnessing the birth of something far greater than themselves—the Je'daii Order. But hidden within this new beginning are the first seeds of the conflict that will one day divide the Force into light and dark, shaping the destiny of the galaxy forever. After answering the mysterious call of the Tho Yor, T'raa and Dae'nil awaken on the ancient world of Tython a planet alive with the Force. As they struggle to leave their old lives behind, they encounter pilgrims from across the galaxy, including a Wookiee and a Sith Pureblood, who have all been brought together for the same unknown purpose. But as the planet itself begins reacting to their emotions, they realize that Tython demands perfect balance between light and dark. Their journey marks the first steps toward the creation of the Je'daii Order, while a growing storm foreshadows the conflict that will one day shape the destiny of the Jedi and the Sith. As more mysterious Tho Yor ships arrive on Tython, thousands of Force-sensitive pilgrims from across the galaxy begin gathering for an unknown purpose. While new friendships are formed and ancient rivalries are set aside, Dae'nil struggles to adapt to a world that seems to speak to everyone except him.
